Learn to kite!
At Ka’banya kitesurf center we provide profesional, fun and safe kiteboarding lessons and give you the full kiteboarding lifestyle experience. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced kiter, you are welcome to join us at our kiting community.
Our kite team of IKO certified instructors teach in English, Russian and Spanish. During our lessons, the school provides students with necessary wetsuit or lycra, helmet and flotation west. We also have rescue service boat so there’s no need for worry.
ABOUT THE SPOT
This spot is a pure kitesurfing paradise. Over the years, Velika Plaza has become one of the most famous and secure places for learning to kitesurf at Adriatic sea. Counting 14 km from Port Milena to a delta of river Bojana, it’s one of the longest and widest beaches in Europe. The water is usually warm therefor wetsuits are not really needed. On the delta of river Bojana, which is on 800m from our kite center, the water is flat and really attractive for pro’s to practice tricks, the rest of the cost has choppy water fun for jumping and playing around.
The wind season starts from the beginning of May until the end of September. A thermal side-on-shore wind blows almost every day at wind speeds from 15 to 20 knots.

Who we are…
We are an optimistic young crew that created this place of passion for kitesurfing and extreme sports. It has become our way of life and we love it. That’s why you should come and experience the positive vibe and hospitality of our Ka’banya kite community.
What we do…
For us, this is what they call a dream job. Days on the beautiful beach of Ulcinj, interacting with new people, teaching kiteboarding and making our guests happy. In the mean time we hang out, make barbecues and beach parties, have yoga sessions, sleep overs on the beach and anything that comes to our minds.
How we do it…
As from the first day we were working hard and always improving every aspect of our business within our kite centre. The fun doesn’t stop when the wind goes away. That is the reason why we constantly grow and now have many happy guests and members of the team.

Parties
Some times we organize parties from house, disco and jazzy sound at day time to live rock’n’roll acoustic performances and techno events hosting great DJs. Fun on the beach never stops, from early morning exercises and healthy breakfast routine to kitesurfing or standup paddling throughout the day, enjoying beautiful sunsets, amazing cocktails, camp fire stories, dancing on the sand and feeling 100% free.
